TESTIMONY! LOOK WHAT YOUR FRIEND ON CAMPUS EXPERIENCE BY THIS WEEKS VERSES!
After reading one scripture this week, 1 John 1:5-10, which is a passage I've read many times, became clear to me. The Spirit lead me to think of Christ being like a flashlight which guides you though every dark paths. What I found to be amazing though is that when we surround ourselves with others who are positive, in other words, those who also have a flashlight to lead them, then the path will become even brighter and clearer to see. Also if someone's light begins to dim then they will also have those around them to help guide them. I thank God sending his Spirit to open my eyes and granting unto me understanding. He is truly AMAZING!!!:-)
WHY DONT YOU SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS WITH US :)

2012
INTRODUCTION
Many of the things that you will sacrifice during Fidor will allow your mind to focus on God and cause you to hear His voice above the distractions. Spend the time you would have used in other pursuits for reading, concentrated family time, and prayer or anything productive for spiritual, physical, mental, social growth.
Fidor is not designed to become a weight loss program or to be a burden in any way. It is for spiritual purposes that will enable us to draw closer to God, hear His voice in clear tones, and purge us from the weights, and habits that so easily beset us.
If you are sick and/or under medical care, taking medication (s), have diagnosed medical conditions or diseases, please consult with a medical or parental authority before engaging in the food portion you may choose of Fidor.
Things you may want to consider during Fidor:
This is a good time to ask God to begin to show you your purpose in life.
This is a good time if you are single and dating to ask God if this is a relationship that He condones and would like for you to continue pursuing.
Good time to finally allow God to come into every area of your life, relationships, entertainment, etc.
Expect God to come close and reveal Himself to you!
Things you may want to consider while spending time with God:
Time- Give God the best time of your day not the leftovers.
Place- Choose a place that affords solitude and is reasonably quiet.
Text- Move through a book of the Bible in small portions or pick a text that fits your mood or need.
Read scripture with a heart ready to repent.
Five-week study:
I can’t do this by myself!
Let’s build a relationship!
How can I stay committed to this?
Conquering my issues!
The redefined you!
What is FIDOR??
Fidor is a 40-day spiritual fast toward sincerely striping off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. Our goal is to continue to run with endurance the race God has set before us, with the help of the Holy Spirit. The only way to become spiritually productive in life is through the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5).
When is it?
The spiritual fast will begin at 5pm January 22 and end on February 29 at
5pm.
5pm.
The purpose
1. To become productive in 4 areas of life Spiritual, Physical, Personal,
Social
Social
2. To connect with each other in prayer and Bible Study
3. To prepare the campus for winning souls to Jesus Christ.
4. To reach the prize God has set for us.
Lets Get Started
Find a prayer partner! You may choose for this person to be a close friend, a roommate, or someone you are just meeting. However you want to be able to truly share, pray, cry, and open up to this person.
During the 40 days you will be praying for 5 people. Ask God for guidance as you select these individuals. Let at least three of the people you choose be students on this campus.
Those on your prayer list may be family members, friends, or classmates. They may be individuals who have either left the church, or were never members of the church (They should be individuals living in your area in order to invite them to Singspiration and church sometime during the next 40 days).
Contact each of the 5 people who have selected. You may choose to contact these individuals in person, by phone, by email, or mail. Following is an example of what you should say to the friends you are contacting:
Beginning January 22 to February 29 Singspiration (my school) is having a special emphasis on prayer, and is requesting that we choose five individuals to pray for during the next 40 days.
Since you are my friend (or whatever the relationship is) it seemed only natural that I would think of praying for you. I would be honored if you would let me know what your specific prayer requests are so that I can know how to pray for you for the next 40 days.
Assign each person a day so that you can pray for them continually throughout the 40 days on the same day every week.
Prayerfully consider what activities you can do to show them you care. The
following list contains suggestions of things you can do for those on your prayer list to show that you care for them. Add to this list as the Lord leads.
